"The concept behind the video is to reflect the notion of allowing yourself to let go and dance a little. Not being afraid to be yourself."
JEFFE has today returned with a video for her previously released single WWYD, premiering via The Music.
After returning to Brisbane from London following COVID complications, JEFFE has been developing her sound with significant acclaim with singles Apocalypse and Home.
The video was shot on the outskirts of Brisbane, reflecting on the feeling of breaking free and seizing days and moments.
The track itself was co-written and produced alongside Aidan Hogg and features deep bass accompanied by JEFFE's delicate vocals.
“I wrote WWYD in a time where I was really questioning my purpose in life and whether I was on the right path. It’s scary making choices that could impact the rest of your life and not knowing what the right decision is sometimes, and it’s really easy to get caught up in the stress of it all," she stated.
"I wanted to keep the video clip simple. It’s my first time ever making my own video clip so I didn’t want to make things too complicated.

"The concept behind the video is to reflect the notion of allowing yourself to let go and dance a little. Not being afraid to be yourself. I got my boyfriend to film it for me on my iPhone and I did all the editing myself, it was a lot of fun to make!”
You can catch JEFFE in Brisbane at The Bearded Lady in West End on May 5. Show info HERE.
