And a sneaky shout out to a classic film clip.
It’s a sun soaked day by the shore in the video for Perth outfit Dog Beach’s debut single Fence Sitter.
Filmed and edited by band member Zac Bruce, the clip plays a tongue-in-cheek homage to Coldplay’s Yellow but with the addition of foster greyhounds and playful chainsaws.
The duo is an amalgamation of Bruce and Hideous Sun Demons' Jake Surino, who says despite the songs sunny feel, it was born out of political unrest.
"Lyrically the song was written the day before the state election. It's about the negative view modern politics has on centralists and also the lack of open minded discussion between the right and left,” Surino said.

“But to be honest it's also a bit jibberish and realizing maybe you agree with your parents more than you'd like to admit.”
