The music video for Aussie songwriter Harper Bloom's second single, Walk My Way, is premiering on theMusic.com.au today!
The clip for the track, a light hearted spin on overcoming feelings of self doubt, sees the Perth-bred-Melbourne-based artist again team with writer and director David Hansen, who filmed Bloom's debut video for Mary.
"We shot the Walk My Way video in early iso conditions, so it was all done in my apartment with just David and my partner," Bloom told The Music.
"David came up with a storyline of a young couple who walked opposite paths career-wise but respected each other’s differing passions and drive. He came up with a cross-section of scenes to showcase the fun loving dynamics of the relationship and celebrate how two contrasting personalities balance each other out.
"Given the situation with COVID-19, my partner and I decided to play the lead roles in the clip. We are no seasoned actors, but luckily the storyline was pretty much a representation of our daily lives, so hopefully that comes across authentically in the video."
Walk My Way will feature on Bloom's forthcoming EP, Faith, Sex & Skin, produced by Benjamin McCarthy (Thelma Plum, G Flip, Alex The Astronaut).
