Put a bubble of happiness in your Wednesday with Dictaphone Blues unique new video for their latest cut When Your Simulation Crossed Mine, premiering today on theMusic.com.au.
The video is a delightful call-back to the simple pleasures of green screen with chilli peppers playing the keys and a dead fish slapping those cowbells.
When Your Simulation Crossed Mine is taken from the outfit’s upcoming EP Elastic Meditation which is due to drop in March. As songwriter and co-creator of the clip Edward Castelow explains the visuals reflect a madcap joy that is expressed in the song.
“Is reality simulated? Did you in fact create your life and love in your own head?” Castelow said.
“There is just no way to actually find out, so relax and enjoy the music. “
