“Their incredible energy is infectious."
Melbourne rockers Creature Fear were all set to film the music video for Barely Alive when the COVID pandemic hit, forcing them to adjust their plans with director Amy Pollock last-minute.
Within hours, they had a second video planned out, drawing inspiration The Simpsons, old English comedies and more.
"We didn’t originally set out to reflect the current situation but the parallels became incredibly clear and we decided to embrace it,” Creature Fear told The Music.
“We shot it in one long session, in one small room with James Haddad capturing the madness and Amy Pollock directing.”
Pollock added: “Creature Fear are always such dream to work with. I can throw any weird idea at them and I know they will deliver.
“Their incredible energy is infectious and their music always excites me to my core. Having James Haddad as our DOP was an absolute pleasure. Cam and Jac are such incredible performers, no punches were pulled. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Creature Fear.”
