"A celebration of country meets coast."
The new clip from Melbourne's Cool Sounds is a “celebration of country meets coast; fishing, frivolity - and most of all – friendship”.
Cool Sounds teamed up with director Simon Fazio to create the music video for Alive, a track on their forthcoming EP, Sleepers.
“Based on an original concept by band member Nick Kearton and CS, Alive juxtaposes a kaleidoscopic collage of pacific scenery against singer Dainis’ melancholic - almost contrapuntal - refrain of ‘feeling alive’. Surf and turf,” Fazio told The Music.
Alive was shot on a green screen in the band's Brunswick share house.
Recorded during lockdown in a newly built home studio, Sleepers is officially out this Friday.
