Brisbane pysch-rockers Baskervillain are back in the scene to stay, releasing a trippy new video for their single Bitter Pink, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
The video is simple in concept but executed masterfully. Watch as a simple grapefruit warps, transforms and transcends to the pattern of the band's psychedelic sound. Its frenetic visuals are reflective of the confusion present in the tune.
"Bitter Pink reflects feelings of frustration and being down on your own reality, wanting to make something better for yourself but instead drowning out the dullness with old habits," vocalist Tom Spurgin said.
"The song is intended to echo how we frustrate ourselves and agonise over the sometimes bitter realities of our choices."
Baskervillain are currently at the tail end of an east coast tour, with shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Warrnambool still to come in the next week.
