"This song and video are dedicated to anybody who is trying to change. "
The new clip from Aussie talent Andy Bull is “made to be seen on your phone or tablet”.
Premiering today via The Music, the lyric video for It’s All Connected is fun and quirky and was actually created by Bull.
"I animated this clip myself using a cartoony, nostalgic aesthetic; like a mid-‘90s, MTV-inspired art school project, because each image is a hazily remembered fragment of my life from childhood all the way to 2020: little mental snapshots lost to time, like a high school binder, a late-night text message, or seeing the first published COVID charts,” he told The Music.
“I’ve been trying to look life directly in the eye; to take ownership of my circumstances; to be honest about my behaviour in order to start making good on whatever potential I have while I’m alive.
“That’s what this song and lyric video mean to me, and it feels especially meaningful to be returning from my hiatus with this intention, this song, as my own wonderful father passed away only a few days ago. So, this song and video are dedicated to anybody who is trying to change. Same here."
It’s All Connected marks the end of a years-long hiatus and arrives ahead of a Sydney show later this month, all the details of which you can find in theGuide.
