VIDEO PREMIERE: Abroad - 'Alright OK'

"The video is about taking a moment to reassess what’s really important, and whether it's been with you all along.”

Sydney-Melbourne band Abroad have a new video for Alright Ok coming out Thursday 9 July and TheMusic.com.au are happy to share it with you a few days ahead of time.

The duo first turned heads with their 2017-18 EPs London and New York, both named for the cities they were written in, with their big, bright electronica quickly attracting millions of streams and comparisons to acts like RÜFÜS DU SOL and Boo Seeka.

Given the state of the world at the moment it's fitting that their new single clip was filmed closer to home, with a woman (Brittney McCallum) wandering through a neon-lit Sydney night, dancing in abandoned streets.

“All through the clip, Brittney is searching for us and even though we walk right by her she doesn’t actually find us until the end," says band member Will Cruger.

“Partly inspired by our experiences being quarantined, the video is about taking a moment to reassess what’s really important, and whether it's been with you all along.”
