How would you describe your music? Everything from pop, rock, soul, reggae and jazz through to soundtrack compositions and multiple forms of electronic music.

What should people expect from your performance as part of the G20 Cultural Celebrations? Global Groove is about a group of folk and jam scene musicians having a party in a nightclub!

Do you think the G20 Cultural Celebrations will help to promote local talent and live music long term? Absolutely! The program covers a huge variety of music styles across multiple spectrums, showcasing the true wealth of talent on offer in QLD.

What world leader (past or current) would you most like to meet and why? The Dalai Lama. I think his teachings and his spirit are truly wonderful.

Is there a political component to any of your music? I don’t mind saying that I no longer consider myself left or right. I lived in New York during Occupy Wall Street and watched it evolve into a truly wonderful human experiment; a self-contained little universe with sleeping quarters, a communal kitchen, library, first aid area, etc. The reason why it was so successful, which confused everyone at first, was because it had no political agenda.
