Chloe Webb presents her top ten beards from the indie universe, including Justin Vernon, Tim Harrington, Matt Corby, and The Beards.
When it comes to the indie scene, many a trend comes to mind, but nothing seems to add to one's social status (and don’t deny it… sex appeal) quite like the old muttonchops or five o’clock shadow that, time and time again, I find myself losing my shit over.
No, I’m not talking about the old ex-biker crooner from down the road, or that Woodstock throwback with a plaited goatee who asks you for spare cigarettes at the bus stop, nor am I talking about that girl from school who smuggled a furry caterpillar on her upper lip & was denial of its existence.
I’m talking about the masterfully crafted and maintained Beard of the Indie - and, yes, there is a dexterous difference.
