Slayyyter – crank 2
The alter-ego to Slayyyter’s massive 2025 single, CRANK, is here with crank 2.
Featuring the same thrilling melody as the original, this is no straightforward remix; it’s anchored by heavily distorted vocals and beats. Here, the American hitmaker serves her success to her cheating ex: “You see me blowin’ up?/ I’m on the television,” she growls.
Cage the Elephant – Dying in Reverse
Cage the Elephant have returned with a slow-burn track, Dying in Reverse, that’s drowned in psychedelic rock inspirations. The band’s Matthew Shultz explained that the track is “essentially about a fresh start or a rebirth of sorts” and “death to ego.”
Sampa the Great – Simon Says
Sampa the Great is paying tribute to Zambia’s 1970s music genre, Zamrock, with her just-announced new album, Nu Zamrock. The single Simon Says is high-energy, while Sampa is commanding in her reflection on being visible in the world as a major recording artist.
RY X – Holy Water
Holy Water is another beautiful song by Australian Grammy-nominated artist and producer RY X. The piano-led ballad is effortlessly tender and warm, lulling listeners into a place of safety.
total tommy – Tailgate
total tommy is gearing up for the release of her new album, Trapezoid, with her new single, Tailgate. The grunge-inspired indie rock number takes a disturbing personal experience – being in an Uber with a psychic driver who gave her an unsolicited reading – into a cathartic release of emotions.
Nothing But Thieves – A Different Kind of Happiness
British rockers Nothing But Thieves have unveiled the final taste of their forthcoming album, Stray Gods, with the Britpop-flavoured tune, A Different Kind of Happiness. Crunchy guitars in the verses lead to a soaring chorus – a song structure the band have always excelled at.
Rogue Traders ft. Dannii Minogue – Dirty Dirty Disco
Rogue Traders teaming up with pop royalty Dannii Minogue is genius. The cheeky, high-energy, feel-good club track is jam-packed with exciting hooks, pulsating beats and is undeniably disco. “We wanted to make a song that feels fun, unapologetic and impossible not to dance to — and having Dannii join Natalie on the track made it even more special,” said Rogue Traders’ James Ash.
Wafia – GIRL IS A GUN
GIRL IS A GUN is pure empowerment from Wafia. With euphoric drums and vocals, the song unfurls as the singer throws herself into a brand-new musical path, drawing from the “tough women” in her life—like her grandmothers.
Jack Gray – Blind Lovin’
Jack Gray’s Blind Lovin’ is a pretty song, anchored by electric guitar chords elevating his radio-ready voice and melodies. Currently on a sold-out run across Australia, there’s only one place for Gray to go from here: up.
