Sydney Fringe Festival 2016: Facemeat - The Musical

Answered by: David Sattout

Describe your show in a tweet? Specifically prepared for the Fringe Festival, Facemeat - The Musical features a spoken word tale of slow-burn entrapment interspersed with a suite of songs.

Why did you decide to do Fringe this year? Fringe suits my desire to present a mixed music/narrative performance.

Tell us a bit about the creative team working on this project? David Sattout, composer-writer - Shani Moffat, a puppeteer known as Duckie L'Orange - and the band, some of Sydney's finest jazz instrumentalists.

What will make you stand out in the Fringe crowd? The mixture of music and narration of itself, the result of which merges the conscious and the subconscious to present a multi-layered show.

When and where is your Fringe show? 14 & 15 Sep, 8.30pm, Hibernian House.
