SPA Confidential's New Year's Resolutions

A few ways in which SPA Confidential will improve itself next year:

I will stop being bitter and embrace the term 'EDM'.

I will still hang shit on Skrillex.

I will not get drunk every night at BIGSOUND.

I will not sneak into ARIA Awards after-parties I was not invited to.

I will say 'No thanks' for the first time ever when someone offers me a drink at an industry function.

I will not say, 'Don't you know who I am?' when trying to get into private suites.

I will not try to pick up by dropping the 'music industry' line.

I will not tell 18-year-olds, 'I can make you big'.

I will not talk about radio presenters behind their backs.

I will stop blogging about why I've been forced to start blogging.

I will not take advantage of my friends to try and rack up 'Likes' for my stories.

I will start my end of year lists half-way through the year.

I will not cross my fingers behind my back when I say “So, off the record”.

I will not go through celebrity garbage bins for grocery shopping lists.

I will only write one story about Gotye a week.

I will write as many stories about Royal Headache as humanely possible.

I will not get into pub fights about Spotify vs Rdio.

I promise to look up JB Hi-Fi streaming service.

I will watch at least one full live music DVD without being distracted.

I will get a phone that answers calls better than it takes pictures.
