The CloudsThe new cut from Australian “dream rockers” The Clouds, Check Us Out is, as drummer Raph Whittingham explains, “an exposé on self-belief, not succumbing to expectations or advice based on ‘what sells’ or ‘what should be’.”
It was written by Trish Young and developed by “team Cloud”.
“It’s a totally DIY project,” Whittingham told The Music.
“The drums were recorded by myself at home in WA, then rhythm guitar and vocals added by Jodi, bass and vocals by Trish with the help of Ramsay and last but definitely not least lead and rhythm guitars by Dave, who also mixed and mastered the track.”
The Aussie favourites will hit the road next month to celebrate its release, playing Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
