Sydney pop artist Swaré bursts back onto the scene with a new attitude and fresh single.
The singer-songwriter has today revealed his latest tune, Chunkyluv (Xira, Timomatic, Miidnight) collab The One I Want, ahead of a hometown launch tomorrow night.
"The One I Want was the first track the two of us worked on, and we didn't really set ourselves any boundaries, we just wanted to write something that felt slick and fresh to us," Swaré said.
"I wanted to work with Chunky specifically because of his knowledge and style with that neo-soul kind of sound."
Swaré also experiments with darker, edgier elements throughout The One I Want.
"I wanted this to be a clear development, musically. I said to Chunky that we needed to bring something new to the table and to bring sounds out that weren't typical of what I was doing.”
