Sydney producer and songwriter So LI has dropped her new single Past The Break, an intensely personal and emotionally raw song, premiering on theMusic.com.au.
The tune is multilayered, soft rock riffs intertwine with sharp hip hop beats that sit comfortably behind the songstresses soaring vocals. The lyrics hit close to home for the singer who aims to raise awareness for Autism with her song.
“I wrote and produced Past the Break after my experience with someone who was on the lower end of the spectrum and who touched my life with their deeply caring heart and nature,” So LI said.
“I felt I needed to bring awareness to the misconception of Autism as I understood the challenging journey this person endured due to being perceived as “different” but at the same time how they were able to shake things up in people along the way”
