Sydney singer-songwriter Little Green, aka Amy Nelson, has unveiled her debut single, Sweet Pain.

Nelson penned the acoustic pop tune when she was only 16, and it was inspired by her relationship with swimming, which once defined her.

“Since writing this song, it has continued to uplift me through different stages in my life, and I hope it can do the same for others,” Nelson said.

“I think pain is relative and personal, but this is my human experience and I am sharing it in the hope that it will resonate with someone out there.”

Sweet Pain is taken from a forthcoming EP recorded in Madrid with Spanish producer Diego Seijas.
