"We are so happy with how it has turned out."
Melbourne indie-pop duo Ironess offer up another taste of their forthcoming EP via new track Comfortable.
Premiering today via The Music, the single follows on from the band’s debut cut, Drive, and has been described as “a carefree, R&B-driven beauty”.
"I really love the old school R&B vibe and have been wanting to write a song in this style for a long time,” Ironess told The Music.
“It's easier to be brave and tackle new challenges when someone is by your side. We are so happy with how it has turned out.
“When we arrived in the studio we knew the direction we wanted this song to go. It was important to keep it simple, falling naturally into the laid back beat while cruising its way to the bridge, allowing us to focus on telling the story."
