Listen to Hey Geronimo's new single 'Last Days' now ahead of its official release this Friday!
Aussie indie rockers Hey Geronimo have unleashed an “apocalyptic” new single.
Premiering today via The Music, Last Days was produced by the band and mixed by Brendan Cox, who has previously worked with Imogen Heap, Jadu Heart.
“Last Days is about what we’re living through,” singer and keyboardist Pluto Jonze said.
“It feels inevitable now - we’re just partying on the deck of the Titanic. With climate change, a widening wealth gap and a mass distortion in our ability to critically think.
“America’s Empire (which we’re intrinsically tethered to) is imploding in slow-motion and it’s hard to look away. The Last Days of Rome are upon us.”
The new song features the band’s trademark tongue-in-cheek charm and is driven by expanding distorted bass and chunking drums.
