What’s the song about? Lizard Boy is a voice for the people, a politically charged beast and collective consciousness of the entire band aligned.
How long did it take to write/record? We spent almost a third of last year touring Europe. We wrote songs whenever and wherever we had a chance during this time. The harder you work and more time you spend, the better it gets!
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This single is the first taste of our third independent album Love Army, due out in mid-2014. $22,000 in funds were recently raised by our fans/supporters to help contribute towards recording and release costs.
What was inspiring you during the songs writing and recording? From the current political climate of Australia to living in a small apartment in Pigalle (red light district of Paris), the grimy basements in South London: everything inspires the blank canvas to paint our sound.
