What's the song about? It's really just a feel good song about having fun with life and not taking yourself too seriously.
How long did it take to write/record? It was originally written seven years ago and then brought back to life in a drunken studio jam, then refined/workshopped over a couple of weeks. In the end it came together quite quickly.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Yeah, it's our first single from our new album scheduled for release late November.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? We'd been touring extensively and having so much fun on the road and visiting some really interesting places so I was inspired mostly by life experiences for this song.
We'll like this song if we like... Dancing, fat horns, good times, solid drums, driving bass lines.
Do you play it differently live? Yeah, we stretch it out, build it up more and let it build organically. It's different every time we play it.
When and where is your launch/next gigs? 23 Jun, Woolly Mammoth, Brisbane; 24 Jun, Solbar, Maroochydore.
