Tell us about the people behind the scenes?
I am Bianca (the B) and my husband is Damian (the D) in BnD. We have been buying records since we were young and selling records since 2019.
When and why did the store open?
We opened our little store in October 2024.
What do your customers most know you for?
They love that we can find them those weird and hard to get vinyl. When Damian puts his mind to finding something, he always delivers.
What is the most popular title you stock at the moment?
Jeff Buckley Grace, Pearl Jam 10 or Frank Ocean Blonde! All go as quick as we get them in!
What is the most popular evergreen title?
Fleetwood Mac Rumours and Abbey Road the Beatles.
What is the best thing about running a record store in 2025?
Definitely being your own boss and listening to whatever records I want to play! I love seeing young people come in the store buying vinyl, like I did when I was their age!
What is the hardest thing about running a record store in 2025?
Staying competitive with the big boys!! It’s hard to have the same volume of stock and keep prices low.
