In terms of drink, there is a strong focus on microbreweries and wineries producing interesting beverages. The homemade cocktails on offer also draw in the crowds, who stop in for A Casual Hello (42 Below Passion, Licor 43, apple juice, basil, lychees and peach bitters) or a Green Rose (Gin Mare, apple schnapps, rosemary, lime, topped with apple juice). There’s plenty of craft and mass-produced ciders and beer, and a wide-ranging wine list.
Summer chef Cassidy McMillan has put together a fresh vibrant summer menu - there are hints of native Australian produce in the grilled fish of the day; spiced pumpkin, shaved cucumber, pomegranate and feta salad and more. And with a vertiginous number of sides to choose from, you can chop and change your meal to your exact liking.
You can order online from the Express Lunch menu (available Monday – Friday) and then just pop down to pick it up.
