More Ruel More Ruel

For award-winning, 5x platinum-selling Sydney artist Ruel, the world is small until it isn’t. Following the release of his covers EP Adaptations in August, the artist took to the iconic stages of The Gramercy Theatre in New York and Los Angeles’ Roxy Theatre, playing sold-out shows to enthusiastic fans from the complete other side of the globe. His debut at Lollapalooza in August further cemented Ruel’s superstar status, musing through the sound system of one of the world’s most prominent stages. It almost feels like a no-brainer that the land of the free would become home-away-from-home for the artist.

For The Music, the artist has provided an intimate glimpse into life abroad these past few months since leaving Australia.

One of my fav parts about moving to LA was the Comedy store, used to hit this up at least once a week and this is a photo of me catching an uber home from there haha. clear to see i had a ball.

My first proper American Halloween, got right into the spirit, you guys do it diffferent over here.

Top wayyy too small, tryna fake it and make it work tho coz ya boy loves some free Acne Studios haha.

The day I shaved my head, maybe had a little too much new found confidence.

Hike, hike, hike, hike. Best way to force a bit of exercise and get out of the house was the Observatory hike at sunset. Sooo beautiful.

Sunsets in LA are honestly some of the best in the world, idk what it is but it’s so consistent.

Off to back home for a week for a festival. So used to that 15 hour flight now it’s noooothing.

I’ve really missed playing live for everyone this year, writing the album has been fun but it gets to a point where you’re itching to get back on tour again...guess i’ll see ya next year.
