In a move that's sure to excite film buffs, Mov'In Outdoor Bed Cinema has announced they’ll be relocating its mattresses to Barangaroo’s Harbour Park for an epic summer experience.
From January 12 to April 14, 2024, visitors will have the chance to catch their favourite films on a 15-metre 4K screen, all while lounging on queen-sized beds set atop an impressive 280 tonnes of sand to mimic a beachy paradise.
Established in 2016, Mov'In his known for its epic outdoor cinema experiences across the country, with previous iterations including Mov'In Boat at Darling Harbour and Mov'In Car atop the Entertainment Quarter's rooftop, which notably hosted Australia's first electric vehicle drive-in cinema.
The lineup for the beachside movie marathon is as exciting as its setting, with blockbusters like The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, The Marvels, Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon, John Wick: Chapter 4, and Everything Everywhere All At Once set to feature.
Additionally, the program includes acclaimed titles like Studio Ghibli's The Boy and the Heron, No Hard Feelings, Napoleon, Anyone But You, and Ferrari.

Adding a little extra sparkle to the experience, the cinema will also host special dress-up nights and provide an intermission for longer films.
Moviegoers can also look forward to enjoying skyline views, along with food and drink services delivered straight to their beds, while DJs will set the vibes while playing tunes from various film soundtracks upon arrival.
In a nod to maintaining a peaceful beach environment, Mov'In will employ noise-cancelling headphones for its audience, ensuring that the movie experience is immersive and private.
Gates open at 6 PM, with movies starting at 8:30 PM. Ticket prices range from $12 to $75 per person, offering an accessible range for all.
