Now a duo that needs no introduction, legendary Australian electro-rock act Gypsy & The Cat has returned with their new single, Inside Your Mind. It's the first taste of their third album, following up from their hugely-successful Gilgamesh and The Late Blue, and by the sounds of Inside Your Mind - it's gonna be a great third album. Swirling guitar riffs extremely reminiscent of MGMT's Electric Feel (maybe too reminiscent - but that's for another day), punchy falsetto Gypsy & The Cat style and layers of synth combine together to produce something danceable and fun, blending their distinct indie-pop sound with a wall of electronica to keep it unique, yet still carry that signature Gypsy & The Cat feel. With a four-date tour accompanying the single kicking off this time next month, 2016 looks like it's set to be the year of the gypsy (and the cat).
