Kendrick Lamar's new album arrives a week early..

'Unapologetically black and amazing,' - said Pharrell of Kendrick Lamar's incredible new, G-funk inspired track, King Kunta, which appeared online over the weekend. Today, eight days before his album was scheduled to release - Lamar was possibly avoiding a leak, although the early release date coincides with the 20th anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s Me Against the World, which Lamar signalled with a tweet:

The follow up to his 2012 debut good kid, m.A.A.d city, To Pimp a Butterfly explores free jazz, funk,and spoken-word, and is home to Lamar's Grammy-winning single i, The Blacker the Berry, and King Kunta. Snoop Dogg, Ron Isley, Bilal, James Fauntleroy, George Clinton, and more are guests.
