Kendrick LamarEarlier this week, acts such as The Wombats, Franz Ferdinand, MGMT and Chvrches announced Australian headline shows in support of their Splendour In The Grass appearances, and now, the one we've all been waiting for has joined the ranks too. After doing a quick run of east-coast dates in 2016, we're stoked to say that Kendrick Lamar will be returning to Australian shores in July, touring his hip-hop masterpiece DAMN. for the first time in Australia.
It's bound to be a mammoth tour, with King Kendrick continuing his rise after taking out the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Music (the only time a non-classical/jazz artist has won, by the way), topping the Hottest 100 in Jan with HUMBLE., and teaming up with acts like SZA and The Weeknd for the Black Panther soundtrack.
This time, Kendrick will perform in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth in July, before headlining Splendour In The Grass on the Sunday night. Tickets go on sale April 30th HERE.
