Kito & Reija Lee name us their top five places to visit in their adopted hometown of South London.
The ladies of KITO & REIJA LEE have won over listeners world-wide with their brand of electro-pop balladry, with recent tracks such as 'Word$' with ZEBRA KATZ and 'Starting Line' embodying this.
With the recent release of their sophomore EP, II (which you can get your hands on HERE), the producer/singer duo shared with us their top five places to hit up at their newly found hometown of South London.
1. NEGRIL, BRIXTON HILL

"The best Jamaican restaurant in South London, as far as we’re concerned! It’s right next to the studio that we record vocals at so have been known to be regulars here. Amazing chicken curry roti wraps, jerk chicken & ribs, ackee & salt fish etc. Plus the staff are awesome and it’s always vibes."

2. THE FOUR QUARTERS, PECKHAM
"A bar with retro arcade games and a seriously good range of boutique beers. Everything from Space Invaders to Sega Rally to Pacman. Oh yeah and did we mention it’s all free play?!!!"

3. THE HILL NEXT TO NUNHEAD CEMETERY
"Go through the secret entrance in the alleyway along the side of Nunhead cemetery and you will find the best view of London. A seriously amazing spot at sunrise. If you do go at the crack of dawn, you’ll probably be sharing the space with some happy party people (aka gurners)."

4. LAB-G, BRIXTON MARKET
"The best gelato you will ever eat in London. Our favourite flavours are pistachio and salted caramel."

5. RITZY CINEMA, BRIXTON
"The Ritzy is an art house cinema in the middle of Brixton. The building itself is pretty cool – cinema 1 [pictured above] is stunning. There are 5 screens in total and there’s also a little rooftop bar, which is a nice place to get a drink in summer."
