You know a band has to be good when they're picked to support awesome bands like The Drums and Deerhunter on their Australian tours. So when Tiger Choir came flashing across our screens, we just had to listen. And we certainly weren't disappointed.
Heralding from the deep south, these Tasmanian devils have a diverse sound, almost impossible to describe. They like to keep everyone guessing, using weird instrumentation and eery vocals for one track, but then more predictable electronic beats and strong guitar riffs for others. Their layered tracks have us intrigued from first listen, and they're definitely a band we'll be keeping our eye on.
Their vid for Dancer is a trippy compilation of bright colours and tasmanian devils, and we reckon it totally enhances the whole music listening experience. Try it for yourself...
