Why should punters visit you? 2015 nominees Methyl Ethel, Grace Barbé, pictured, and Lilt provide live goodness plus DJ John Safari. A mystery MC and special guest presenters will keep you so entertained you’ll forget you’re at an awards night.

What’s the history of the event? Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the newly formatted Awards Party debuts at Fremantle’s B-Shed, including sunset drinks and a boat. Seriously.

Any advice for first timers who want to visit the event? Don’t expect your usual, boring awards ceremony. It’s a Saturday party and everyone’s invited, and it’s structured for maximum enjoyment. Bring your dancing shoes.

Do you have any plans for the event in the future? Freshening things up this year is all part of a long-term plan to keep improving our commitment to support WA artists at all levels. As such, the event plans to continue to evolve.
