What’s the history of the venue? The EC opened in 1854 making it one of Brunswick’s oldest pubs still in business. The first clientele were grubby gold diggers, prospectors and the assorted riff-raff that follow any gold rush. Today things are a little more... civilised.
What is your venue doing to help the local music scene? We try to promote local diversity and innovative musical approaches in a quirky (sometimes open-air) environment.
What are some of the highlights? Ned Collette & Wirewalker come to mind, the Melbourne Ukulele Kollective, Another Batch with their J Dilla tribute.
