A song about wanting to redefine one's self or just start over, I Just Wanna Be Somebody Else is that euphoric self-empowerment song about embracing change or saying ‘fuck it’ and going for it. Story-telling lyrics, quiet synth melodies and simple up-tempo kicks make for mellow verses, which then build into treble-fuelled guitars for a roaring rock-ballad that is the hook.
