This week, triple j gave over the reigns of what the station will play to its listeners. Dubbing the week 'Requestival', listeners can request whatever song they'd like once a day for the whole week. While there have been some absolute classics already in the mix (Inspector Norse is ALWAYS a good option), hooo boy — there have also been some absolutely wild and strange curveballs thrown in as well.

Reading through @triplejplays is like looking back on someone's Spotify queue the night after a houseparty when the aux cord is maybe too accessible. From Disney classics to irritating earworms to primary school disco vibes, it's only Tuesday and it has already been quite the week for the national broadcaster, so here's some of the wildest songs played so far...

Donny Osmond – I’ll Make A Man Out Of You (From Mulan)

Which one of you did this?

John Cena – My Time Is Now

triple j said it best — you can't see me!

Scatman John – Scatman

Who do I have to blame for this now being in my head for the next 57 years?

B-52s - Roam

Major Mary-Kate and Ashley 'When In Rome' vibes

Eiffel 65 – Blue

@Flume drop the remix though

Spice Girls – Wannabe

If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my radio requests

Ike & Tina Turner – Nutbush City Limits

And just like that, triple j became a primary school disco...

Motorhead – Ace of Spades

This was all but guaranteed to get played at some stage, right?

Beethoven - Symphony No. 5 in C minor: I. Allegro con brio

This being played at 10am this morning... Look we're not even mad, we just wanna talk.

RuPaul - Superstar (Hollywood Royalty Remix)

LOOK all I'll say is if we're gonna play RuPaul can we at least play Call Me Mother or Sissy That Walk???

Madonna – Hung Up

Okay we can't actually fault this one and we're secretly hoping this gets added...
