After a four-year hiatus, Electric Gardens Music Festival is making a triumphant return in 2024, presented by T1000 Events.
The festival is set to bring punters a unique one-stage, open-air experience across the Easter Long Weekend: March 30 in Melbourne, March 31 in Sydney, and April 7 in Perth. With a commitment to bringing the best in electronic music, the lineup includes some of the most influential house and progressive DJs and producers of our time.
Exciting news surfaced on February 14, as Electric Gardens revealed an additional show in Perth on Saturday, April 6, 2024, following the overwhelming demand for the Electric Island Sunday event on Cottesloe Beach. The newly added show boasts a fresh lineup featuring UK-based house music heavyweight Sonny Fodera, alongside Cristoph, Ferreck Dawn, Little Fritter, Sneaky Sound System, and Yorp DJs.
Damian Gellé, the promoter of T1000 Events and Electric Island, spoke of his excitement over the forthcoming festivities, saying: “There has been an overwhelming demand for tickets to the Sunday Electric Island show, so we thought why not make a weekend out of it and do the Saturday as well with a completely fresh lineup. As soon as I saw Adelaide house music sensation Sonny Fodera was keen to play, I knew this was a match made in heaven on Cottesloe Beach!”
The main lineup for the Electric Gardens Music Festival features a stellar cast of international and local talent. Armand Van Helden, with hits like You Don’t Know Me and Barbara Streisand, leads the charge, joined by the S-Man himself, Roger Sanchez, known for his chart-toppers like Another Chance and Lost.
Adding to the excitement is the return of the iconic British DJ Sasha, part of the legendary duo Sasha & John Digweed, and rising star Franky Wah, who has taken the dance scene by storm with tracks like Change My Mind and Words.
Between 2016 and 2020, Electric Gardens hosted some of the biggest names in house music, including Fatboy Slim, Eric Prydz, Gorgon City, and many more. The festival has also introduced iconic European brands like Circoloco and Amnesia Ibiza to Australian audiences.
Damian Gelle added of bringing back his beloved Electric Gardens franchise: “We’ve sat on the bench since the pandemic, but now it’s time. We’ve always had a unique offering and I’m once again thrilled to be presenting some of the world’s greatest DJs across multiple states in unique settings.”
