What kind of courses do you offer? SAE Institute offers government accredited Degrees, Associate Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates, in the areas of Audio, Film, Animation, Games, Design and Web & Mobile. This year SAE has also launched a new post-graduate Masters program, the Master in Creative Industries (MCI).
Do you offer practical on-site learning or more of a theoretical base? At SAE Institute, we offer core theory-based study units, but our emphasis is all about hands-on learning. SAE film and audio students are regularly taken out of the classroom and offered backstage crew passes at some of Australia's premier festivals and events. Students learn invaluable amounts of knowledge assisting the film and sound crews at such festivals that include; Bluesfest, Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Mullum Music Festival, Flickerfest, and many more.

What kind of social activities do you offer? SAE offers master classes and workshops by visiting specialists in the creative industries and runs several competitions across the different disciplines. Games students have the opportunity to showcase their work at GCAP, audio and film students can win an internship opportunity with Splendour In The Grass and web design students can have their apps put forward for testing and development. There are so many fantastic opportunities for students to have their work showcased at SAE!
Do you offer job opportunities, internships, or other ways to help students get ahead? SAE staff strive to provide students with incredible work experience opportunities as part of their final year studies, where they can collaborate on real-world projects in a professional working environment, to equip them with the skills and experience they need to hit the ground running in their careers.
