What’s the song about? Talk Talk is written from a place of frustration. It is about longing for people to take action.  

How long did it take to write/record? It was written in Sydney in January. It followed me around the room for a few months and then Harley and I finished it in June.  

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? It’s taken from Vacant Space EP which will be released via Future Classic on 1 Dec.

What was inspiring you during the song’s writing and recording? It was summer in Australia. I was having fun. It was the first time I’d had a break in a year. It was a time of complicated romance.

Do you play it differently live? I play with two other musicians when I perform live. We workshopped the track until we were all happy with how it felt. It was a challenging process.
