Give us a short description of your music: Synthy dream pop.
Which acts are on your must-see list at BIGSOUND? CLYPSO, Hachiku, Gabriella Cohen, James Wright Trio, Genesis Owusu, Two People, Emerson Snowe.
In your career to date, what have been the key watershed moments? Recording in New York was definitely a huge accomplishment. I don't think either of us could have imagined we would ever get an opportunity like that. Playing Perth's Astor Theatre supporting Gang Of Youths was also a big bucket list tick.
If you could give your younger self, starting out as a musician, a few words of wisdom, what would they be? Practice harder, it'll come in handy!
Why should people come and see you among the many amazing bands at BIGSOUND? We've really taken time in developing our new album and especially in reproducing it live. It's a new band, a new set up and with new music. People should come and see how we've grown.

What industry lessons would you like to take away from the BIGSOUND conference? I'd really love to understand the world of publishing a little more and how to gain opportunities in that field. I'd also really love to hear the advice Bronte Jane has to offer. She's so young and works with such incredible bands. Katie Garcia's work is also really inspiring.
What do you identify as the most pressing issue impacting the Australian music industry at present? Diversity. It only takes a quick look at the way certain promoters have handled backlash towards their male-dominated line-ups to understand that the industry on a whole isn't doing as much as it could be.
What music trends do you think are dominating right now, and do you have any predictions for the coming year? Australiana seems to be pretty cool right now. Mumble rap too. Oh, and breaks! Hard to listen to a dance podcast or hit the club without hearing a load of breaks and broken beat at the moment. Don't know what happened to four on the floor.
When and where is your BIGSOUND showcase? Famous Nightclub - Tuesday, 4 September, 9pm
