How did you first become involved in the music business and how did you end up where you are today? I started managing my own band, then other bands, then doing PR for bands, then being a label for bands, and went from there.
What's been the biggest change in the music business you've seen over the past 12 months? Absolute decimation of digital sales.
What do you think will be the biggest issue affecting the music industry in the next 12 months and why? Indie labels trying to work out how to make money in the streaming age.

What advice would you give young practitioners in your area starting out today? Get started. Start managing/promoting/songwriting and teach yourself. Don't wait for someone to give you a job. That drive is worth far more than any degree or internship.
What will you be primarily discussing during your appearance at the BIGSOUND conference? How/why to get good music, to good people that can make a difference.
What are you hoping that people will be able to learn from your panel/interview? Some kind of mix of all of the above.
What do you personally hope to take away from your time at BIGSOUND? Would love to see some cool new music that isn't trying to be too cool.
