Piece together your best bear costume because BEST COAST’s new album, The Only Place is coming out May 15. Why bear costume? Because the cover art features a bear cuddling his beloved California. Cute. Plus any excuse to wear a bear costume and cuddle your loved ones, right?

It’s been produced by indie legend, Jon Brion and is a collection of tunes that capture frontwoman Bethany Cosentino’s earnest feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt. I’m excited, why aren’t you more excited? Crazy For You was perfect lovelorn surf-rock, and from the sneak peek fans have received at recent concerts (say the one in January in Sydney) it’s sure to please and result in some quivers of joy.
