ALBUM PREMIERE: Clio Renner - 'Nothing Breaks Nothing Mends'

"It's just all the music I've played, and all the music I love. An honest record."

More Clio Renner Clio Renner

Australian pianist, keyboardist, vocalist and songwriter Clio Renner will release her debut album, Nothing Breaks Nothing Mends, tomorrow... but you can listen to the record in full right now.

The Music is rapt to premiere the Melbourne-based artist's debut effort, which comes two years after her EP, Something Left to Leave Behind.

"Nothing Breaks Nothing Mends was an outlet for unfinished thoughts of mine," Renner told The Music.

"Ideas about the varying states of our resistance and questions about weird human behaviours. We started tracking as a band in January, but it turned into more of a bedroom studio situation as lockdown kicked in.

"In many ways it became limitless which was exciting, and tricky at times- and probably why the sound of it doesn't really settle on one genre.

"It's just all the music I've played, and all the music I love. An honest record."
