Album title? Nobody Told Me

Where did the title of your new album come from? It is what it is: Nobody Told Me about how life was 'really' going to be and where I would end up and what I would see and do and love. 

How many releases do you have now? Six full-length albums, two live DVDS, a whole bunch of EPs.

How long did it take to write/record? It took a couple years to write and then two trips to Seattle where I recorded with Ryan Hadlock (Vance Joy/The Lumineers) at Bear Creek Studio. We were in the studio around 12 to 14 hours a day!

Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? It was inspiring working with Ryan, and also working with some incredible and notable musos from USA. It was a very creative, safe zone we were all in — so amazing things happened. 

What's your favourite song on it? Holding Back. It's very emotionally driven, with gorgeous cello lines, piano, drums, guitar and bass. 

Will you do anything differently next time? I will spend more time in Seattle! I would take a few days to go and explore this amazing city and watch more live music while there.
