Album title? Beat It Down
Where did the title of your new album come from? It's the title of one of the album tracks, we thought it best summed up the record.
How many releases do you have now? We have released a live record, Live At The Bird, our debut album, DeadBeat, and a 7" called Bones.
How long did it take to write/record? It took us a couple of years to write, then jam out live and try many different versions of the songs till they felt good. Took us three days to record.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? We recorded it live to eight track. This forced us to get a good live take with live percussion or vocals. We had some friends into bang trash cans or sing along.
What's your favourite song on it? I Want To Know, it has duelling bass and guitar feedback.
Will you do anything differently next time? Record different songs.
When and where is your launch/next gig? Mar 17, Badlands Bar with Thee Loose Hounds, Bats, Oosterbanger and Holly Doll spinning records all night.
