The influences that made the record so punchy

Album title? Transitions
Where did the title of your new album come from? The band was in transition at the time of writing the album, we lost our original drummer prior to going into pre-production – change in dynamic and direction was certain, the name reflects that.
How many releases do you have now? Transitions is our debut album, we have an EP called 1 we released prior.

How long did it take to write/record? Some songs were written over the year leading up and even longer sitting in Stevie’s (singer/guitarist) personal archive, others came together quickly, and some actually during pre-production.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? It was an intense period for the band losing a member but also on a personal level, we had some serious illness closely connected to us – these things definitely added fuel to the fire!
What’s your favourite song on it? This Is A War – it’s to-the-point, in-your-face, but still maintains melody throughout.
Will you do anything differently next time? Transitions was tracked in Texas with producer Chris ‘Frenchie’ Smith, that was an awesome experience we learnt a lot from but next time it’s full DIY.
