Album title? Afro Dance Pop
Where did the title of your new album come from? In Ghana where I come from, Hiplife is a style of music. This new song which is getting a lots of air play called Afro Dance Pop fit in very much with Azonto dance.
How long did it take to write/record? A song can take a year or a day. Ideas for songs/lyrics always flow to me, I never write song, I create my beat, rhythm, arrangement.
Was anything in particular inspiring you during the making? Inspirations everywhere. One of my song says, “Can you see the beauty/Even if it is not pretty?” Sorry I can’t even express myself in your English, I hope you’ll understand what I mean.
What’s your favourite song on it? Every song is unique. Like The Universe loves us all, doesn’t matter if you’re rasta, pastor, police or prisoner.
Will you do anything differently next time? Why not? Nothing stays permanent, like the globe turning, we are here to expand.
