Sports and music fans in Sydney are in for a culinary treat as Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium undergo a major revamp of their food offerings.

The transformation, led by the family-owned hospitality business Gema Group, promises to bring a diverse array of local and international flavours to these popular venues.

The new menu is a far cry from the traditional stadium fare of pies and hot dogs. Fans can now enjoy a range of gourmet options, including the famous charcoal chicken from El Jannah, the American burger sensation Five Guys, and even delicacies from the renowned Nobu.

It also marks the first time Five Guys has opened a location in a stadium anywhere in the world, adding a unique flair to Sydney's sports and entertainment grounds.

The lineup also includes other popular eateries such as Al Aseel, Ribs & Burgers, Roll'd, The Meat and Wine Co, Sushi Hub, and Oakberry. These join the refreshed offerings of classic stadium food, ensuring there's something for every palate.

"This is a great announcement that will not only highlight the flavours of Western Sydney, it will create jobs and support many small to medium family-owned businesses, like the legendary El Jannah," said NSW Minister for Sport and Small Business, Steve Kamper.

In a special collaboration with Crown Sydney, Nobu will feature at major Accor Stadium events, offering its famously fancy sushi and sashimi. Additionally, the Event Chef Series will see renowned chefs Manu Feildel, Anna Polyviou, and Miguel Maestre adding their unique twists to stadium eats during major events.

Kerrie Mather, CEO of Venues NSW, expressed excitement about the upgrade, stating, "We will be giving fans the ultimate choice of cuisine — reflecting the diverse communities who attend our events and Sydney's richness of culture."
