It’s a stunning addition to their famed canon that rewards multiple listens, albeit not straying too far from the template they helped to create. But when the template is this great, who cares?

Everything about it – the sound, the title, hell, even the cover art – screams science fiction. Whether you agree with that admittedly dorky notion or not, you can’t disagree that Tomorrow’s Harvest is a journey.

Don’t think this is a ‘club’ Boards Of Canada though – the problem, if there is one, is that the album is actually too obviously a Boards Of Canada album.
