Tomorrow's Harvest is out in two weeks, the first single has just hit the internet.

Boards Of Canada fans are pretty serious about their dedication to the band, so you can imagine that making them wait eight years between records has caused all sorts of emotions within the fanbase. There's a little bitterness, a bit of confusion and wonder and a whole lot of excitement.

The first single from the long, long awaited new LP Tomorrow's Harvest was premiered on UK radio last night and a new clip has dropped in our inbox this morning. It's called Reach For The Dead and we're pleased to report it bodes very well indeed for the Scottish indie-electronic duo's fourth LP.

We'd write about its understated beauty, the tense build-up of pulsing synth blips, chords and melodic phrases, the kinda unnerving background drone and the effortless stomp of the electronic kick drum, but we'd prefer you just hear it for yourself.
