Wil Wagner Solo Tour
The Smith Street Band frontman is flying solo this August/September.. The Smith Street Band’s Wil Wagner has already had a huge 2014, and it’s about to get even bigger. Between recording the third LP with his band, touring the world and more recently, collaborating with TZU’s Joelistics, Wagner has announced an east coast tour to celebrate his forthcoming solo 12"/EP, due out later this year via Poison City. We love this band, and we love Wil, and are 100% behind this group of rad humans. Before he returns to Europe and the UK, Wagner will set off across the country on his only solo tour for the year, bringing talented young Melbourne musician Georgia Maq along for the ride. The daughter of musician Hugh McDonald of folk-rock group Redgum, Maq grew up surrounded by music and destined for a life on stage. Those dreams are slowly becoming a reality with the release of her debut 7” With A Q via Jackknife Music. Tickets on sale Friday July 11th from Oztix & Corner Hotel Box Office:
